Greenburgh Academy is seeking a Speech Pathologist to work with students who present significant academic and behavioral challenges. Responsibilities and Qualifications:Provide appropriate mandated speech-language services to middle and high school students with special needsWork with students exhibiting a full range of communication disorders, including those involving language, social communication, articulation, fluency, and voice/resonanceEstablish goals, develop lesson plans, and report on progress throughout the school yearMaintain session notes and provide progress notes/goals for IEP updatesConfer/collaborate with parents/guardians, teachers, other service providers, and administrators to resolve student behavioral and academic problemsProvide in-class support and carry-over as requiredExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary teamCertifications:NYS SLP License (Required)Compensation: Commensurate with experience and education as per contract
