**Experience managing students with significant emotional, behavioral and psychiatric needs REQUIRED**Reports to: PrincipalPrimary Function:To administer discipline to students who have committed infractions of the discipline code and to work collaboratively with them, their teachers, and parents in order to modify their behavior.To maximize a safe and wholesome environment for students and staff.Responsibilities:To implement effective supervision and discipline to students.To ensure that student referrals are addressed in a timely manner.To develop and implement a plan for maintaining and improving student/teacherrelationships at acceptable levels.To ensure that student conduct is reviewed and evaluated.To develop and implement a behavioral plan for improving or maintaining studentconduct and safety at acceptable levels.Requirements: SBL certification, Therapeutic Crisis Intervention System for Schools certification
