Greenburgh Academy, located in Yonkers, NY, is a special education Middle and High School servicing at-risk youth. Our school district, Greenburgh-North Castle, is part of the NYS Teacher Retirement system.  We are seeking a dynamic Reading Specialist to teach Regents bound and address state mandates with High School and middle students as indicated on their IEPs; many of whom present with significant academic and behavioral challenges. The ideal candidate will be skilled in state of the art educational strategies, behavior management techniques, and experience with incorporating Social Emotional Learning within the curriculum.
