Galway Central School District has an anticipated vacancy and is now accepting applications for a Full-Time probationary Elementary STEM Teacher (Pre-K - Grade 6) effective July 22, 2022. Candidates shall possess at least a Bachelor’s degree, Master’s and dual certification preferred; valid NYSED Childhood Education Grades 1-6 certification required; additional Early Childhood Birth - Grade 2 preferred. The ideal candidate will also possess a certification to teach the PLTW Launch curriculum and be well versed in NGSS/NYSSLS. Candidates should have experience in teaching hands-on, project based learning and be familiar with the Engineering Design Process.Applicants must upload the following documents: (a) cover letter; (b) resume; (c) three letters of recommendation; (d) copy of teaching certificate(s); (e) copies of college transcripts.
