Job Description: Guide students toward gaining essential knowledge and skills. Qualifications: New York State Certification Strong vocal and/or piano skills preferred Fingerprinting clearance required Essential Duties (include, but are not limited to): Effectively integrate knowledge of NYS Music Learning Standards into curriculum planning and classroom instruction Ability to teach general and instrumental music Meet and teach assigned classes and caseload Maintain a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and supports all students Maintain accurate and complete records to track the progress of individual students Communicate with parents regarding the progress of individual students Use assessment tools to guide instruction Strive by instruction and action to implement the district’s philosophy of education, instructional goals and objectives Ability to expand the Fine & Performing Arts Department’s goal of providing authentic arts experiences for students both inside and outside the classroom Complete other duties as assigned Location: Elementary Deadline: June 22, 2026 Effective: 2026-2027 School Year Application Instructions: Qualified candidates should apply via OLAS with a resume and letter of interest to Andrew DiNapoli, before the deadline.
