VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT PART-TIME SUMMER TECHNICIANS Salary: $17.00 Per Hour Glen Cove City School District is committed to recruit and hire the most qualified staff members who are dedicated to the success of all students and the Glen Cove City community. Job Description: Complete technical tasks and projects outlined by the Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum, Instruction, and Technology and the Coordinator for Instructional Technology. Qualifications: Technical knowledge to successfully perform duties and responsibilities Detail oriented and organized Able to follow directions and work collaboratively, while also completing tasks independently when needed Comfortable handling technology equipment carefully and responsibly Able to troubleshoot basic technology issues Must hold valid driver’s license Must have full fingerprinting clearance Graduation from high school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma Essential Duties (include, but are not limited to): Assist in provisioning Chromebooks and iPads Create and affix asset labels to devices and equipment Maintain accurate device inventory records in the inventory database Reconnect desktop computers and Macs, including basic troubleshooting and cable management Unbox, organize, and prepare equipment for deployment Perform basic technology maintenance and cleaning of devices and related equipment Assist with setting up and organizing computer labs and other instructional spaces Install and update approved software and applications Lift, move, and transport technology equipment up to 50 lbs.
