Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Oversight of all curriculum and instruction Pre-K through Grade 12Supervision of administrators and instructional technology personnelOversight of NYS assessments, test administration, and analysis of student performance data to improve outcomesManagement of the district’s Annual Professional Performance Review (APPR) processDevelopment and coordination of all district curriculum plans and professional development initiativesLeadership in the integration of technology into curriculum and instructionSupervision of instructional materials selection and implementationDevelopment and delivery of presentations to the Board of Education and community regarding instructional initiativesOversight of federal and state reporting, including NYSED mandates and data submissionsFacilitation of the new teacher orientation processCoordination of district communication tools related to instruction (i.e., parent platforms)Oversight of program budgets and support in grant writing and managementKnowledge of restorative practices and social-emotional learning (SEL) frameworksServes as a member of the Superintendent’s Cabinet and District committees as requiredPerforms other tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the Superintendent of SchoolsEffective: July 1, 2025Application Instructions: Qualified candidates should apply via OLAS with a resume and letter of interest to Andrew DiNapoli, before the deadline.
