PART-TIME FOOD SERVICE HELPERSHOURLY Salary: As Per Contract Glen Cove City School District is committed to recruit and hire the most qualified staff members who are dedicated to the success of all students and the Glen Cove City community. Qualifications:Must be able to obtain food safety certificationRequires occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 25 lbsMust have full fingerprinting clearance Essential Duties (include, but are not limited to):Prepare food items and meals while providing customer service and adhering to food safety, food handling, and sanitation proceduresPrepare and build food items according to standardized recipes and directionsMust be able to learn and utilize POS (point of sale) systemProperly store food by adhering to food safety policies, procedures, and DoH guidelinesSet up work stations including prep tables, service counters, hot wells, steam tables, etc.Break down, clean, and sanitize work stationsOther related duties assigned by the School Lunch Director or their designee Location: District Time: 5 to 5.9 Hours Per Day Deadline: Interviews Ongoing Until Positions Are Filled Effective: 2024-2025 School Year Application Instructions: Qualified candidates should apply via OLAS or via email with resume and cover letter to personnel@glencoveschools.org before the deadline.
