Elementary Principal - Plan, organize, administer, manage and coordinate all education programs for elementary school. Supervisor paraprofessional/clerical personnel. Promotes and cultivates a school climate that values student voice and designs authentic student learning experience. Consults with the superintendent on the implementation of initiatives outlined in SCEP and DCIP. Assist in the development , revision and evaluation of elementary curriculum consistent with NYSED standards. Participates and maintains an effective and culturally responsive learning environment among the entire school community. Serves as elementary instructional leader for the school and drives teaching and learning designed to meet elementary school student needs in order to create continuous improvement and equitable academic and social-emotional outcomes for all students. Initiates, facilitates , designs and implements programs and scheduling to meet all students. Acts as a liaison between the school and community to participate in the educational process as part of the overall school life. Coordinates with administrative team staff orientation and professional development programs throughout the school year and support functions such as maintenance, security, food services. financial/budgeting and accounting functions. Oversees the evaluation of teacher performance. Develops and oversees procedures for NYSED ELA, Math and Science testing.Additional administrative tasks may be assigned as needed. Salary Commensurate with experience.
