This is a Probationary position working in a supportive program for students on the Autism Spectrum.Greenburgh Graham is a K-12 public school district that provides a therapeutic environment for day students referred to us by their local Committee on Special Education. We serve students from Westchester, Rockland, Putnam, Dutchess, Orange, Sullivan, and Ulster counties, as well as the five boroughs of NYC.We are seeking a tenure track teacher to teach students at the Elementary level; many of whom present with significant academic and behavioral challenges. The ideal candidate will be skilled in state-of-the-art educational strategies and behavior management techniques and have experience incorporating social-emotional learning into the curriculum. Greenburgh Graham is part of the NYS Teacher Retirement system.
