The Greenburgh-Graham UFSD is seeking certified Special Education Teachers to serve as Per Diem, Long Term and Regular Daily Substitutes. Many of the students present with significant academic and behavioral needs. The ideal candidates will have a strong understanding of contemporary instructional strategies and their effective implementation, effectively guide and support student behavior in a positive and constructive manner, and have prior experience incorporating Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) skills within the curriculum, Disabilities Served: Emotional Disability (ED), Autism (AU), Learning Disability (LD), Speech Impairment, Other Health Impairment (OHI), Intellectual Disabilities (ID).Class Ratios: 8:1:1 for core academics, 12:1:1 for electives.Certification Requirements: Students with Disabilities Any LevelBenefits: Some positions include dental, vision, and health insurance; union membership (GSFT); an employee assistance programGreenburgh-Graham UFSD is a New York State Special Act public school district serving over 260 students aged 5-21.
