The Greenburgh Graham Union-Free School District is seeking a passionate and dedicated school psychologist with knowledge of Individual Education Program implementation for students receiving special education services. Candidates should have school-based experience in working with students classified as Emotionally Disabled, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Other Health Impaired, and other disabilities. Candidates should have experience in crisis management. Candidates must have valid, New York State Certification. Experience using Frontline is preferred. Responsibilities: include, but are not limited to:Serve students K-12 in individual and small group therapy sessions.Respond to students needing crisis management or additional support.Participate in ongoing department training and meetings.Ensure the appropriate development and implementation of the Individual Education Plan in collaboration with team members.Use data systems (i.e. Frontline, Google Docs) to update pertinent information, complete daily session notes, Annual Review Reports and Progress Reports.Participate in CSE meetings and present findings, interpret evaluation results, etc.Complete Functional Behavior Analysis (FBA’s) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP’s) for students.Communicate with special education administrators, parents, and team members on an ongoing basis.Any additional assigned duties as directed by the Supervisor of Special Education and building principal.
