The Glens Falls City School District has an opening for a Bus Dispatcher/Driver. Responsibilities include establishing daily route schedules for school district bus drivers, and communciating with school district bus drivers regarding routes, schedules, pick-up and drop off points. The Bus Dispatcher acts as the contact person for all district personnel requesting transportation. The work is performed under the general supervision of the Transportation Director or higher level administrator in accordance with established policies and procedures.Must meet minimum qualifications through NYS Civil Service, which includes a valid motor vehicle license issued by the New York State Department of Motor Vehicles required to operate a school vehicle in the transportation of children.
