Glens Falls City School District has an opening for a 12-month Building Maintenance Helper. Responsibilities include a variety of tasks connected with the operation, maintenance, and cleaning of buildings, grounds, and related equipment. Assists with minor carpentry, plumbing, masonry, electrical, and painting work; helps remove snow and ice from walks and driveways; operates trucks or automobiles to perform a variety of errands and related maintenance tasks; does related work as required. Minimum Qualifications:Candidate must meet the following minimum requirements:Knowledge of practices, tools and materials used in the maintenance and repair of buildings and equipmentAbility to follow oral and written directions, work as part of a team, manual dexterity and good physical conditionMust have a valid New York State Driver’s LicenseStarting salary: $29,500 (previous experience considered)Health insurance and paid leave benefit options available.
