SECONDARY ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL Greater Amsterdam School District seeks a full-time, 11-month, Secondary Assistant Principal for the Lynch Literacy Academy (middle school) to start on September 1, 2023. Salary commensurate with experience. The Secondary Assistant Principal shall be ultimately responsible to the Building Principal or designee and performs a variety of tasks in the areas of general administration, supervision, student relations, and plans operation and management as delegated by the principal.Qualification Requirements: Master’s degree or higher in education and proper administrative certification.Preferred to have one (1) or more years of proven administrative experience.Five (5) years of successful teaching experience with strong instructional background. Experienced instructional leader that has led positive and needed changes in educational environment(s) through student academics. Skills to manage students and programs, communicate effectively, problem solving. Knowledge of discipline procedures, safety procedures, district policies and special education regulations.
