DIRECTOR OF SECONDARY INSTRUCTION 12-month The Director of Secondary Instruction is directly responsible to the Superintendent of Schools for the supervision, coordination and evaluation of programs and instruction within the secondary schools of the District (Middle School/High School). Qualification Requirements: Master’s degree or higher, NYS SAS/SDA/SDL certification, with three (3)+ years of successful building and/or district administrative experience. Five (5) years of successful teaching experience and is an experienced instructional leader who has led positive and needed changes in the educational environment(s) through student academics. Experience understanding and delivering effective, research based instructional practices at the classroom and/or building levels. Possess substantive organizational skills and the ability to oversee/supervise the effective implementation of required state and county and district assessments.
