Substitute Teachers – Per DiemSalary $150/day, no benefits.Requirements:· Valid NYS teaching certification in elementary education for grades K-6.· Valid NYS State teaching certification in other areas and those working towards certification are welcome to apply to substitute in grades 7-12.· Applicants with a bachelor’s degree are permitted to sub for up to 40 days per school year at the secondary level.· Proof of fingerprinting through the NY State Department of Education required.· Ability to establish and maintain positive interpersonal relations with students, parents and staff.· Available on an as needed basis.· Substitute teachers that have previously worked for Freeport Schools must reapply.Applicants should apply in person at 235 N Ocean Ave, Freeport at the Personnel Office.
