The Farmingdale School District is seeking dedicated, reliable, and adaptable educators to serve as Building Substitute Teachers for the upcoming school year. Unlike traditional per-diem substitutes, Building Substitutes report to work every single day that school is in session, offering guaranteed daily employment and a consistent schedule. We are looking for candidates to fill roles at both the Elementary level and the Secondary level (Middle School/High School). We welcome educators with all certification types to apply. Location: Farmingdale School District (Assigned to a specific building) Schedule: Monday – Friday (Following the school calendar) Status: Full-Time Daily Attendance Required Report to your assigned building daily and receive your classroom assignment from the administration. Deliver instructional lessons prepared by the absent classroom teacher, ensuring a continuous and productive learning environment. Maintain a safe, positive, and respectful classroom culture aligned with Farmingdale District standards. Adapt quickly to different grade levels, subject areas, and student needs.
