The middle school special education multisensory reading teacher will deliver intensive, small-group reading intervention using evidence-based, multisensory techniques; develop, implement, and track progress for Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), administer and interpret formal and informal reading assessments (e.g., WIAT, WIST) to drive instructional shifts and placement. Seeking candidates with a d eep understanding of the Science of Reading and the unique emotional/social needs of middle schoolers with learning differences. Wilson Reading System® Certification: (WRS Level I or II) strongly preferred. Experience with other OG-based programs (e.g., Just Words) preferred.
