The Floral Park-Bellerose School District, a Pre-K through 6th Grade School District in western Nassau County, is seeking an experienced, visionary leader to serve as Principal of its Pre-K–6 elementary school. The successful candidate will be a dynamic, student-centered educator who fosters a culture of excellence, equity, and inclusion while promoting high academic achievement and social-emotional well-being for all students. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Serve as the instructional and administrative leader of the school Cultivate a positive school climate that supports high expectations for students and staff Lead curriculum implementation, data-driven instruction, and professional learning Build strong partnerships with families and the community Supervise and evaluate faculty and staff Ensure a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment Collaborate with district leadership to improve teaching and learning Uphold district policies and state regulations Qualifications: New York State Certification as a School Building Leader (SBL) At least seven years of successful teaching experience at the elementary level Minimum of two years' experience as an Assistant Principal Demonstrated ability to inspire and lead instructional improvement Proven commitment to student achievement and inclusive practices Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills How to Apply: Apply via OLAS only
