The Floral Park Bellerose School District, a Pre-K through Sixth grade school district in western Nassau County, is looking for a Summer Reading Teacher: The Extended School Year Reading Teacher will provide reading instruction in either a small group or 1:1 session using one of the District’s recommended reading programs. General Responsibilities: Floral Park-Bellerose School District is seeking three teachers who are familiar with one of the District’s reading programs including Linda Mood Bell, Wilson and/or Reading Horizons. Qualifications and Selection Criteria: Must be a Special Education, Certified Reading Teacher or Academic Instructional Support Teacher Must have experience/training and/or certification in implementing Reading Horizons, Linda Mood Bell or Wilson Reading Instruction WORK SCHEDULE : Dates: 7/1/26-8/11/26 Hours between 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m - hours per week vary Rate of Pay $50.00/hour APPLICATION : Apply via OLAS only
