This unique, two-part role is an opportunity to directly shape both the day-to-day culture of our secondary school and the district's overall approach to social-emotional learning.We are seeking a dynamic, student-centered Secondary School Assistant Principal / SEL Coordinator to join our leadership team. This unique role blends school leadership and social-emotional learning (SEL) to ensure our students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.You will partner closely with our Secondary Principal, Director of Student Support Services, and district leadership team to build a culture of respect, responsibility, and resilience.What You’ll Do:Provide day-to-day leadership in the Secondary School (grades 6–12), including supervision, discipline, and instructional support.Champion social-emotional learning (SEL) across the district, aligning with our Positivity Project (P2) and Hi-5 Friends.Lead initiatives in restorative practices, de-escalation strategies, and student engagement.
