Location: Frankfort-Schuyler Elementary School Qualifications:Masters Degree in Social Work – LMSW preferredProvisional or Permanent Certificate of School Social Work Responsibilities:Provide direct counseling services to students utilizing a variety of research-based approachesDevelop intervention strategies to improve student academic, behavioral and social-emotional outcomesProvide crisis intervention to students and educational teams including suicide assessmentsComplete classroom observations, prepare social history reports, complete social-emotional rating scales, and more upon request by the 504 or CSE as neededIEP responsibilities including entering information regarding social development, drafting IEP goals and progress monitoring IEP goals according to the evaluation scheduleCollaborate with administrators, teachers, related service providers, parents, and community providers to understand and meet the needs of studentsAssist parents in accessing programs and resources relevant to their child’s needs Requirements:Attend and contribute to various school teams including MTSS, RTI, and the Committee on Special Education (CSE) and Section 504 Committee
