Fort Edward UFSD is looking for a reliable and experienced professional to lead our transportation team as Head Bus Driver. This provisional appointment through Washington County Civil Service is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone who enjoys working with others, values safety, and takes pride in a well-run operation.What You’ll Do:Help lead and support our team of bus driversAssist with scheduling routes, maintenance, field tripsUse DMV and 19A websites for proper documentationMake sure buses are clean, safe, and ready to goDrive routes when neededWork closely with district leaders and BOCES to keep things running smoothlyWho We’re Looking For:Required Qualifications:At least 5 years of experience driving school buses or similar vehiclesValid New York State CDL for school bus operationStrong organizational and communication skillsComfortable supervising a team and working with leadershipThis position is perfect for someone who wants to lead by example, stay connected to day-to-day operations, and be part of a supportive school community.
