ANNOUNCEMENT OF ADMINISTRATIVE OPENING Effective: July 1, 2023 DIRECTOR OF ELEMENTARY STUDENT SUPPORT SERVICES (PROBATIONARY) The East Williston School District seeks an experienced educator and lifelong learner to join our growing team as the DIRECTOR OF ELEMENTARY STUDENT SUPPORT SERVICES. ? SAS/SDA certification required? Strong instructional leadership experience required? Experience with varying ages and levels of disabilities? Experience as a CPSE/CSE and 504 Chairperson? Supervise special education teachers, teacher aides, teaching assistants, and related service providers? Collaborate with district and building leaders to enhance the instructional program to meet the needs of all learners? Conduct observations and evaluations of all elementary special education staff members? Facilitate monthly department meetings? Collaborate with all stakeholders to monitor, develop and implement research-based pre-referral interventions to align with the MTSS framework? Provide professional development in areas of special education? Attend and participate in Special Education Parent Council meetings and events? Attend both local and national conferences to deepen your networked knowledge?
