Account Clerk II - Transportation Center. The East Syracuse Minoa Central School District is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Account Clerk II to join the Transportation Department. ESM’s Transportation Department offers a fast-paced and rewarding work environment with a core mission of safely transporting students to and from school each day. Key responsibilities include:Track budgetary accounts and enter requisitions in the financial software for the purchase of goods and services.Prepare monthly fuel inventory reconciliations.Compile and verify information for the processing of bi-weekly payroll.Process claims for payment against appropriate budgetary codes and in accordance with district guidelines.Assist in maintaining parts and supplies inventory.Reconcile transportation, financial, student data from multiple sources, and enter data in various software systems.Compile figures for annual budget preparation, supplying statistics and supporting documentation for department director.Starting Salary: $38,786.80 (8 hours/day, Monday - Friday, 12-month position). This will be a provisional civil service appointment. Successful candidates will need to meet the minimum qualifications for the Account Clerk II job title, and take the civil service exam the next time it is offered.
