Join us at Easterseals Valhalla for an exciting career as an Occupational Therapist.What You'll DoAs an Occupational Therapist you will work as a member of the team (family, staff and other service providers) to provide quality supports and services for children and their families.Your Responsibilities Will Include:Participate in team evaluations to determine developmental status and initial or ongoing eligibility.Develop IFSP's with other team members.Maintain professional standards, and current skills in therapy techniques.Provide occupational therapy services for children.Write progress notes on time schedule addressing the child's strengths, needs and progress.Complete record keeping as required by licensing/certifying agency.Aid in maintaining equipment and workspace.Attend staff meetings, case conferences, and other meetings as assigned.Assist in staff development and training.You're a great fit for this role if you have:Bachelor's Degree or its equivalent in the field of Occupational Therapy from a recognized college or universityCurrent license by the State Board of Registration in MedicineThree years' experience working with children as a therapist is preferred Compensation$65,000-$80,000 (10 months)10-month position with the option to work for the summer session for increased compensation Who We AreEasterseals is a standard-bearer for creating equity and access for people with disabilities and other barriers to long term self-sufficiency.
