POSITION: Barbering Instructor (PT, 0.5 FTE, Day, 10-month) SITE/BUILDING: To be determined QUALIFICATIONS: NYS Barbering 7-12 Certification or eligible for Transitional A Certification For Transitional A Certification pathways, please click here Must hold Barbering License 3-5 years of industry experience and classroom experience preferred RESPONSIBILITIES: Work collaboratively with building level colleagues and CTE career cluster staff to meet student and industry needs Deliver Barbering curriculum to high school students Support students to earn Barbering License at the end of the school year Open to feedback and instructional growth START DATE: September 1, 2026 SALARY: $31,430.50 (PT, 0.5 FTE) Studies show that women and members of some groups are more likely to underestimate their qualifications for a position.
