POSITION: Adult Literacy Vocational Advisor (PT, Day and/or Evening) SITE/BUILDING: Various locations throughout Suffolk County, NY QUALIFICATIONS: NYS School Counselor or Social Worker Certification RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist Adult Education Literacy students in developing academic and career plans Assess all students through BEST Plus 3.0/TABE testing Complete all required literacy paperwork START DATE: July 1, 2026 and ongoing for the 2026-2027 school year SALARY: $44.72/hour Studies show that women and members of some groups are more likely to underestimate their qualifications for a position.
