POSITION: School Nurse/Substitute Nurse (PT) - Regional Summer High School at Bay Shore 2025 ASSIGNMENT: July 1, 2025 – August 20, 2025 SITE/BUILDING: Bay Shore High School Bay Shore Middle School 155 Third Avenue - or - 393 Brook Avenue Bay Shore, NY 11706 Bay Shore, NY 11706 QUALIFICATIONS: · Appropriate NYS Certification required· Demonstrate commitment to valuing diversity and contributing to an inclusive working and learning environmentRESPONSIBILITIES:· Provide assistance with all enrolled Regional Summer School students and staff to ensure all health protocols/medical information is acknowledged and followed· Communicates with all staff, administrators, and parents/guardian when called upon to do so >>> Important to note that you MUST be in attendance on the following dates: <<<Registration Days: July 1, 2025 and July 2, 2025(Registration hours are from 8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.)Classes run from: July 7, 2025 – August 14, 2025 (Monday – Thursday)(Program hours are from 7:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.)Regents Days: August 19, 2025 and August 20, 2025(Regents hours are from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.)THESE POSITIONS ARE DEPENDENT UPON STUDENT ENROLLMENT AND DISTRICT COMMITMENT FOR SUMMER SERVICES START DATE: July 1, 2025SALARY: $5,480.00 (4 hours per day/requires full attendance)Studies show that women and members of some groups are more likely to underestimate their qualifications for a position.
