POSITION: Summer Enrichment Principal (PT) – Central Islip ASSIGNMENT: July 1, 2024 – July 31, 2024 SITE/BUILDING: Francis J. O’Neill Elementary School QUALIFICATIONS: Appropriate NYS Certification required or Appropriate NYS License requiredAbility to create a welcoming and affirming environment for all stakeholders of the school communityDemonstrate commitment to valuing diversity and contributing to an inclusive working and learning environment RESPONSIBILITIES:Supervises a Summer Enrichment Program with academic classes and recreational activities for students entering grades 1-6Observes daily operations of program staff and students to assure a safe learning environmentEffectively communicates with staff, parents, and students of the programReports to the ESBOCES Summer Enrichment Administrators and keeps them apprised of daily activitiesOversees, distributes, and monitors supplies and equipment used in the program Important to note that you MUST be in attendance on the following dates: Orientation, June 28, 2024 Program runs from July 1, 2024 – July 31, 2024 (program closed July 4th & 5th)(Hours are from 8:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.)THESE POSITIONS ARE DEPENDENT UPON STUDENT ENROLLMENT AND DISTRICT COMMITMENT FOR SUMMER SERVICES START DATE: Monday, July 1, 2024 SALARY RANGE: $106.00/hour
