ESBOCES is looking for an experienced leader who values diversity, equity and inclusion, and who has experience navigating multiple constituents, agencies and audiences to run successful programming in support of all learners. This critical position reports to the Director of Career, Technical and Adult Education, and serves as a leader within the department, agency and the region to promote the development and delivery of career training. ASSIGNMENT: Department of Career, Technical and Adult Education QUALIFICATIONS:NYS SDA or SAS/SBL CertificationStrong communication/interpersonal skillsExperience with students with specific needs; diverse populations and/or career and technical educationDemonstrate commitment to valuing diversity and contributing to an inclusive working and learning environment RESPONSIBILITIES:Actively promote diversity, equity and inclusion practices throughout the agencyCreate, share and model the mission and vision of the agencyLead and supervise a diverse staffSupervise and direct school operations in accordance with Board policies and regulationsCreate and maintain a warm, welcoming and affirming work environmentResponsible to hire and supervise a diverse staffComply with all APPR requirements and collective bargaining agreements, completing observations and evaluationsProvide strong, collaborative leadership with an honest, transparent and inclusive style that supports high student outcomes and educational excellenceBuild trusting relationships with staff, students, families, business and industry partners, and other stakeholder groupsEstablish and maintain a safe and secure learning environmentWork with component school districts and parents to develop comprehensive plans for studentsDevelop professional learning plans to grow the professional capacity for all staffMaintain an active Crisis Prevention Intervention certification and provide needed trainings, it warrantedDevelop action plans related to Strategic Planning and Diversity, Equity, and InclusivityThorough knowledge of Part 200 Regulations, graduation and Career Education requirementsDemonstrate an unwavering commitment to high achievement, social-emotional and whole child development of all studentsRepresent departmental and agency interests as a liaison across multiple audiences and platformsServe on a collaborative leadership team that innovates and evolves programmingBuild brand recognition and market programs to increase enrollmentPerform data analysis to identify opportunities for growth and/or improvement of programs, personnel, student outcomes and other related responsibilities Please also apply on OLASSALARY: $152,225.00 START DATE: July 1, 2024
