This role has a direct responsibility for the planning, coordination, implementation, and evaluation of the Staff Developer/Shared Data Expert Service, Assessment Services and services that directly impact Suffolk School Districts’ continuous improvement cycle through district compliance with Every Students Succeeds Act (ESSA).View additional information here: School Data Bank Services WebsiteTo innovatively lead and support the growth of the Staff Developer/Shared Data Expert team in fostering collegial relationships, and in the optimization of data, creation of visualizations and the interpretation and delivery of district data and/student performance data.To provide leadership, and support the Staff Developer/Shared Data Expert Service in providing actionable insights to school districts to improve student access to education and positive outcomes through data initiatives.Responsible for the professional development, coaching and observation and evaluation of certificated staff.To promote and support school districts in utilizing data as a basis for informing instruction, curriculum planning and programmatic decision-making.Responsible for the planning, coordination, implementation and evaluation of the Assessment Service program and oversight of support staff.To assist in the development of services, implementation and support school districts in complying with Every Students Succeeds Act (ESSA) and to remain on a continuous improvement cycle.To assist in the planning, development and facilitation of district and regionally administered data informed educational workshops, training and collegial shares for administrators and teachers.To collaborate with ESBOCES staff and Suffolk school district administrators to anticipate and support initiatives and service needs.To support a welcoming and affirming environment and treat all with respect and dignity.SALARY: $130,201 START DATE: February 20, 2024
