POSITION: Enrichment Teacher (Daily) (PT) – East Islip PROGRAM: Serve as a daily homework assistance teacher for the ESBOCES School Year Enrichment Program at various locations in the East Islip UFSD K-5 buildings LOCATIONS: East Islip, NYIslip Terrace, NY HOURS: Typically range between 3:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. daily,Monday - Thursday, September - June QUALIFICATIONS: NYS K-6 CertificationDemonstrate commitment to valuing diversity and contributing to an inclusive working and learning environment RESPONSIBILITIES:Facilitate and maintain effective instruction and academic support during the mandatory homework/reading periods, enrichment lessons, and special eventsMonitor students to provide adequate supervision and a safe environment; including following health and safety guidelines outlined by the districtProvide communication with parents, staff, and ESBOCES School Year Enrichment DirectorsMay also facilitate weekly special activities/projects for additional hours (per diem) START DATE: September 6, 2023 SALARY: $22.95/hour (when school is in session)
