POSITION: Administrative Coordinator for Career and Technical Education-FTESBOCES is looking for an educational leader who values diversity, equity and inclusion, and who has experience navigating multiple constituents, agencies and audiences to run successful programming in support of learners. This position reports to the Program Administrator for Career and Technical Education, and serves as a leader within the department, agency and the region to promote the development and delivery of career and technical programming. ASSIGNMENT: In-District CTE, Central Office QUALIFICATIONS: NYS SDA/SDL CertificationCareer and technical education experience (preferred); and/or experience with diverse student populations and graduation pathwaysAbility to create a welcoming and affirming learning environment for all stakeholdersStrong communication and problem-solving skillsDemonstrate commitment to valuing diversity and contributing to an inclusive working and learning environment RESPONSIBILITIES:Actively promote diversity, equity and inclusion practices throughout the agencyContinuously engage with myriad professional and self-improvement practicesEstablish partnerships to improve student outcomesAssist in the development and expansion of new programs and courses related to immediate and future workforce and district needsTake proactive approach to organize, coordinate, and track multiple initiativesOnboard new personnel to program(s), department and agency to promote positive and productive experienceManage supplies and purchase orders for instructional materials and related services including equipment and technologyProvide support and perform responsibilities related to the supervision of related staff and delivery of NYSED approved CTE programsPrepare all in-district locations before classes are established to ensure conditions are conducive for scheduled classesExpand relationships with local businesses and community organizationsCoordinate recruitment events, presentation and programmatic eventsManage multiple work streams, deadlines and projects simultaneouslyAssist in collecting, analyzing and reporting data to illustrate student success and program impact, serve as data driven thought leaderServe on a collaborative leadership team that innovates and evolves programming SALARY: $130,201 START DATE: July 1, 2023
