ESBOCES is looking for an experienced educational leader who values diversity, equity and inclusion; who has experience working with multiple constituents, agencies and districts; and who is positioned to run successful programming in support of all learners. This critical position serves as a leader within the department, agency and the region to promote the development and delivery of educational support services. The Divisional Administrator for Educational Support Services reports directly to the Director of Educational Support Services. ASSIGNMENT: Educational Support Services located at the Instructional Support Center at Sequoya QUALIFICATIONS:NYS SDA/SDL Certification requiredDemonstrate commitment to valuing diversity and contributing to an inclusive working and learningMinimum (3) three to five (5) years of administrative experience RESPONSIBILITIES:Actively promote diversity, equity and inclusion practices throughout the agency by creating a warm, welcoming and affirming work environmentHire and/or assist in securing a diverse workforceCreate, share and role model the mission and vision of the agencyLead and supervise a diverse staff while building trusting relationships with staffSupervision, and management of various educational support programs for ESBOCES 51 component school districtsManage the mentoring program for the agencyProvide support for Frontline Professional Growth/Employee Evaluation Management, which includes evaluations and observations for the agencyOffer professional development and provide evaluationsProvide strong collaborative leadership with an honest, transparent and inclusive style that supports high student outcomes and educational excellenceEnsure all APPR requirements are met and adhere to the collective bargaining agreementsBudget preparation, budget oversight and financial managementCoaching and developing staff to determine strengths and offset weaknessesDevelop and carryout action plans related to Strategic PlanningDemonstrate an unwavering commitment to high achievement, social-emotional and whole child development of all students SALARY: $158,444 START DATE: December 1, 2022
