Permanent substitute teachers report daily to our elementary schools and engage in a variety of assignments based on the needs of our students. Per diem substitute teachers are on call and will be asked to report to our elementary schools on an as-needed basis. Certifications Preferred (NY State): Early Childhood (Birth-Grade 2) Childhood Education (Grades?1-6) Students with Disabilities (Grades K-12) Teacher of English to Speakers of Other Languages **Candidates who are currently working toward NY State certification will also be considered. Positions are available at both Rhame Avenue Elementary School and Centre Avenue Elementary School. Candidates should only apply via OLAS. Candidates must provide copies of all transcripts and certifications at the time of application. Salary ($130/Day) Established by East Rockaway Board of Education for the 2024 – 2025 school year.
