Teacher works within the school setting to facilitate instruction specific to social cognitive, executive functioning and pragmatic language deficits associated with ASD and other related disabilities. The work includes the use of evidence-based assessment and intervention practices in the prevention, assessment, intervention, and program design efforts that are integrated within a school. Primary responsibility shall include student safety and appropriate collaboration and attention to each student’s readiness to learn including needed guidance, discipline, and welfare.1.Design, supervise and implement students’ IEP plans2. Create and coordinate student schedules with related services and general education3. Collect and analyze student data and monitor student progress4. Effectively work with large team of professionals needs to coordinate services5. Implement state of the art strategies to work effectively with students with Autism6.Must have no physical limitations. Candidate must be able to lift.Must be NYS certified
