Experience in the field of athletics preferred.Performance Responsibilities for Athletic Managers1. Assists the Director of Athletics with the arrangements for and organizing of officials, team physician, police officers, and supervisory personnel as required and shares responsibility for proper supervision of home games, STAC League and sectional contests.2. Meets at the beginning of each sports season and then as necessary with the Supervisor of Facilities Services to coordinate the schedules and maintenance of all facilities for home athletic events.3. Coordinates with the building principals the use of school facilities by athletic teams4. Works with the Director of Athletics and the school nurse in appropriate aspects of athletic physicals.5. Keeps an inventory and record of all athletic equipment6. Reviews eligibility, parent permission, and insurance forms with all coaches, and makes sure that they are returned to the Director of Physical Education and Athletics7. Coordinates with the director of Physical Education and Athletics and Varsity Club Advsior the All-Sports Banquet at the end of the year.8. Serves as site chairman for all home athletic events.9. Is responsible for providing coaches at the beginning of each season materials for disinfecting blood spills on uniforms and playing surfaces, including the maintenance of all "med" kits.10. Coordinates for the district safety officer to check for proper operation of the AED (automatic emergency defibrillator) and the issue and accountability of assigned AED's each season.11. Manage the accountability of the gate admissions at each HOME event and the proper deposit into the athletic safe or district bank within 24 hours
