The East Meadow School District is seeking a full-time probationary Secondary Special Education Teacher, School Psychologist or Social Worker.All candidates should possess BCBA certification along with Students with Disabilities- Generalist 7-12 or Students with Disabilities (All Grades), School Psychologist or Social Worker.Conduct Functional Behavior Intervention plans (FBAs) in collaboration with school teams and familiesDevelop and implement IEPs and behavior intervention plans (BIPs)Provide direct and indirect behavioral intervention support and consultation to students, teachers, and staffProvide monthly parent training and staff training in evidence-based behavior management techniques, instructional strategies, and ABA principlesDevelop and deliver training for instructional monitors and TAs on the implementation of BIPs and behavior management strategiesTrain and support staff in the implementation of effective crisis prevention strategiesMinimum 3 years teaching experience in an ABA special class and/or experience working in a school setting.Qualified candidates can submit their resume, letter of interest and proof of certification through OLAS.
