The East Meadow School District is seeking candidates who possess New York State certification in Theatre Education for an anticipated part-time position in a vibrant community. We are seeking a dynamic and student-centered Theatre Educator to teach Theatre, foundational, year-long coursework designed to introduce students to the core elements of acting, performance, and theatre design. This part-time position presents an exciting opportunity for a passionate and collaborative educator to engage and inspire students through the study and practice of theatre arts. Candidates must demonstrate exceptional musicianship, as well as be willing to participate in departmental, building, and district-wide collaborations. Candidates must possess excellent communication skills, and the ability to work with students, parents, and colleagues.
