The East Meadow School District is seeking a dynamic and highly qualified Part-Time Theatre Teacher. Candidates must demonstrate exceptional instructional skills in theatre education and a passion for supporting creativity, collaboration, and artistic expression among students. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, teaching theatre classes, developing students' acting, movement, voice, improvisation, and performance skills, and supporting school and district theatrical productions. The successful candidate will create engaging learning experiences that promote confidence, communication, critical thinking, and artistic growth. Strong classroom management, organizational, and communication skills are essential. Candidates should be able to collaborate effectively with colleagues, administrators, students, and families and contribute positively to departmental, building, and district-wide initiatives. New York State Certification in Theatre is required. Qualified candidates may submit their resume, letter of interest, and proof of certification through OLAS.
