We are seeking a knowledgeable and passionate Medical Assistant Teacher to join our high school Career and Technical Education (CTE) program. The ideal candidate will prepare students for entry-level careers in healthcare by providing hands-on instruction, industry-based knowledge, and real-world skills aligned with medical assisting standards.Responsibilities:Deliver engaging instruction in medical assisting topics including clinical procedures, medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, infection control, and healthcare ethicsProvide hands-on training in skills such as vital signs, patient care techniques, and basic laboratory proceduresPrepare students for industry-recognized certificationsMaintain a safe and organized clinical classroom/lab environmentIntegrate employability skills such as professionalism, communication, and teamworkCollaborate with school counselors and administration to support student successEstablish partnerships with local healthcare providers for internships or work-based learning opportunities *Position is contingent upon passage of the school budget.
