The East Meadow School District is seeking candidates who possess New York State certification in Music Education for a long-term substitute position in elementary general music & Chorus serving K-5 students. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, classroom music with a focus in singing, movement, rhythmic and melodic instruments, recorder and ukelele. Candidates are also responsible for directing elementary chorus. Qualities required include departmental, building and district-wide collaborations and excellent communication skills. Qualified candidates can submit their resume, letter of interest and proof of certification through OLAS.
