The East Meadow School District is seeking a full-time probationary Secondary Special Education Teacher.All candidates should be certified in Students with Disabilities- 1-6 or Students with Disabilities (All Grades).Develop and implement IEPsCollaborate with administrators, teachers, and parents to support student learningDifferentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students in small-group settingsMaintain accurate records of student progress, interventions, and progress monitoring dataPrior successful experience teaching special education in a self-contained settingExperience with behavior intervention plansKnowledge of IEP DirectQualified candidates can submit their resume, letter of interest and proof of certification through OLAS.*Position is contingent upon passage of the school budget.
