The East Meadow School District is seeking candidates who possess New York State certification in Music Education for an anticipated high school orchestra position in a vibrant, diverse community. Responsibilities include but are not limited to expertise in string orchestra with a focus on violin/viola. Candidates must demonstrate strong conducting skills, exceptional musicianship as well as be willing to participate in departmental, building, and district-wide collaborations, maintain excellent communication skills, and provide culturally responsive teaching. Qualified candidates can submit their resume, letter of interest and proof of certification through OLAS.
