The East Meadow School District is seeking candidates who possess New York State certification in Music Education for an anticipated elementary/secondary general music position serving K-8 students in a vibrant, diverse community. Responsibilities include but are not limited to classroom music with focus in singing, movement, rhythmic and melodic instruments, recorder, ukulele, and music technology. Qualities required include departmental, building, and district-wide collaborations, excellent communication skills, and culturally responsive teaching.
