Location: Harley Avenue Primary SchoolHours: 6.5 Paid hours per dayEffective: October 17, 2025 Description:Provide Individualized reading support to students, either one-on-one or in small groups, to help students meet grade level expectations Collaborate with classroom and reading teachers to regularly monitor student progress Use progress-monitoring tools to assess student growth throughout the year Administer literacy assessments at scheduled intervalsSkills Required: Candidates should have both the ability and desire to assist students with remedial work in reading, working under general supervision of a teacher.Qualifications: Current certification as a Teaching Assistant or classroom teacher or eligibility for NYS Teaching Assistant certification.
