The Eldred Central School District anticipates an opening for a Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2025–2026 school year. A certified Speech-Language Pathologist is preferred, though qualified Speech Therapists will also be considered for this probationary position.Responsibilities:Assess communication needs and provide interventions that promote functional independence in communication and oral-motor control.Evaluate communication strengths and needs of students with developmental disabilities.Develop and implement individualized interventions integrated into natural environments and daily routines.Utilize assistive technology within functional communication programs.Maintain materials and resources for the communication disorders department.Communicate observations, concerns, and recommendations related to each student’s communication program.Stay current with professional knowledge and best practices relevant to the role.Appointment:Appointment will be made by the Board of Education upon the recommendation of the Superintendent.Anticipated Start Date: September 1, 2025
