East Greenbush CSD is accepting applications for a Bus Aide in the Transportation Department. The Bus Aide assists the school bus driver in providing a safe bus ride by maintaining reasonable order on board; assists children to safely embark and disembark from a school bus; maintains good communication with the bus driver; teaches children safety procedures; and services pupils with disabling conditions on a school bus. This position is 4.5 hours per day/10 months and eligible for benefits.Minimum Qualifications: Graduation from High School or possession of equivalency diplomaAll interested and qualified individuals wishing to become candidates for this position MUST apply to OLAS and submit a complete application including cover letter, up-to-date resume, an EGCSD Non-Instructional application, and a Rensselaer County Civil Service application (found on the district website at www.egcsd.org
